Who are the business?

Coombe Farm Organic are an independent farm located in Crewkerne, Somerset. Originally starting as a dairy farm, Coombe Farm Organic was founded in 2015 in order to make the most of what were by-products from their pre-existing farming enterprise. The business has expanded rapidly and has already won several food awards such as ‘Taste of the West’ and ‘Great Taste’.

Why are they investing in new packaging?

With an ethos enveloped by sustainability, Coombe Farm Organic strive to enact operations that are beneficial to the environment. With Coombe Farm having already gained Soil Association organic status in 1999, and a Red Tractor member, the business is an advocate for ensuring the highest standards of animal welfare, as well as supporting natural, traditional and chemical-free farming methods.

As a result of the sustainability focus of Coombe Farm Organic and Blake alike, we were approached to create innovative packaging that ensured their values were upheld whilst for filling business needs.

On top of fulfilment needs, Coombe Farm Organic utilised Blake’s stock and serve service. This meaning that the customer can submit a higher order than they have stockholding for, and Blake stores the rest until needed.

The project resulted in Coombe Farm Organic now having a newly designed packaging range that reflects who they are as a business and the needs of their customers.
