Banker

An envelope with a diamond shape flap that is traditionally used for greetings cards. Also known as an Invitation

Gummed

An envelope with a layer of adhesive along the envelope flap which is moistened to close. Only gummed envelopes are suitable for automatic mailing machines

Gusset

An envelope that can expand to increase its capacity

Invitation

An envelope with a diamond shape flap that is traditionally used for greetings cards. Also known as a Banker

Peel and Seal

An envelope with a release tape, which, when peeled from the flap, reveals a strip of latex that forms an instant bond when pressed down

Pocket

An envelope with the flap on its shortest edge

Self Seal

An envelope with a strip of latex on each flap which, when pressed together, forms an instant bond

Wallet

An envelope with the flap on its longest edge
